Agatha Christie – Evil Under The Sun
This game is the first of two game featuring Hercule Poirot. This one has a playable character that is Poirot’s friend Captain Hastings (truth be told, to me he looks like a blonde Brent Spiner — Data from Star Trek)
The two differences I’ve noticed between the book (which I haven’t read yet) and the game is Hastings and Mr. Gardner’s name: in the book it’s Odell and in the game it’s Oakley.
The game begins with Poirot and Hastings in Poirot’s office. Listen to all of the stories until gameplay begins. When gameplay begins, take the notepad from Poirot’s desk. Pan left and take the portrait of Hastings & Poirot off of the wall and search the boxes. Take all four files. Back up twice nd pan left. Take the stopwatch from the table. Pan left again and take the briefcase.
Hover the mouse over the top edge of the screen to see the toolbar (whenever you need to access the items here, this is how you get to the toolbar). Click on Hastings to be transported to the case. Note: anytime in the game you can return to Poirot’s office by clicking the portrait
